Anti-Semitism has made headlines in recent months, from the April synagogue shooting in California that left one woman dead, to last year’s mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue in which a gunman killed 11 people. The high-profile killings happened against a larger backdrop of some 1,800 anti-Semitic incidents and assaults nationwide last year, according to the Anti-Defamation League. In Massachusetts, two rabbis were recently the victims of arson, which federal authorities are now investigating.
