Boston is reportedly the most congested city in the country, with commuters spending an average of 164 hours per year sitting in traffic during rush hour, according to analytics company INRIX. Things aren’t any better on the public transportation front, with a recent MassINC poll showing 63 percent of MBTA commuters having been made late for work recently. Overall, it's so bad that more than 50 percent of those with a long commute say they have considered switching jobs to make their daily travels less painful. Will Massachusetts ever garner the funding, the political will, and the right ideas to fix this ongoing nightmare?
