A referendum on the 2016 law that made it illegal to discriminate against people based on their gender identity in public places, such as restaurants, hotels, and stores is back on the ballot. The law allows for every person in the state to use the public bathroom, dressing room, or locker room that's consistent with the person’s gender identity. A “yes” vote would uphold the state law, while a “no” vote would repeal the anti-discrimination law.
