Late last Friday evening, the Boston Globe revealed it was suspending columnist Kevin Cullen for three months without pay after a review turned up “significant problems” with comments he made after the Boston Marathon bombings. He will eventually be allowed to return to his role as a columnist, but after a two-month stint as a general assignment reporter. Did the review go far enough? Does the punishment fit the crime?
Emily Rooney was joined by Adam Reilly of WGBH News, Jon Keller of WBZ, Dan Kennedy of Northeastern University and Callie Crossley of WGBH News to discuss.
