Whether it was their intention or not, one group of Boston teenagers with the Hyde Square Task Force added an impressive line to their resumes this summer. They exposed TD Garden’s failure to comply with a 1993 requirement to raise money for city recreation centers. We hear the teen sleuths explain how they did it and their goal of raising money to build a youth center in Hyde Square. In July, TD Garden agreed to pay $1.6 million to build a rec center in Jamaica Plain.
