Equal Pay Day 2018 is April 10. It's the day we reflect on the gap between men and women's salaries. More specifically, it's the day where women's annual salaries finally reach the median annual salary of their male counterparts. This means it takes working women more than 16 months to make what working men make in one year.
The pay gap is still present and significant, and conversations about how to close the gap are now front and center nationwide. So what is the overall economic impact of this ongoing inequity? And are there ways for individuals, companies and government to work toward equality for women?
