You might say it’s the esprit de corpse edition of our Friday News Quiz!
A new opera is based on the true-life story of two men who made a living by killing people and selling their cadavers. It’s entitled "The Nefarious, Immoral but Highly Profitable Enterprise of Mr. Burke & Mr. Hare." The world premiere was commissioned by Music-Theatre Group with the support of Boston Lyric Opera. It opens next Wednesday, Nov.r 8, at 7:30 at the Cyclorama. We were joined by the composer Julian Grant and the librettist, Mark Campbell.
