The fallout from President Donald Trump’s firing of FBI director James Comey has entered new territory with The New York Times’ that Trump asked Comey to close an investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn. According to the report, the conversation happened during a one-on-one meeting between Trump and Comey, which then Comey detailed in a memo. The White House has denied the claim, but lawmakers in both parties are looking for answers.
