Anjimile performs live at WGBH’s Fraser Performance Studio. Anjimile is a Boston-based Queer and Trans song maker, raised in the suburbs of Richardson, Texas. As a first-generation Malawian-American their experiences with racism, homophobia and xenophobia in the deep south helped to form the basis of their politics and music. Anjimile is the winner of WBUR’s Favorite Massachusetts Entry to the Tiny Desk Contest 2018 and three-time nominee for the 2018 Boston Music Awards .
