Its March, the "high-holidays" for Irish culture around the world. St. Patrick's Day is, of course, on March 17. However, celebrations of the holiday now seem to continue for the entire month.

From the show's programming, I have carefully put together two very different playlists. The first is uptempo toe-tapping fun and ideal for an energetic gathering you might host around the holiday.

This second playlist is lower-key, reflective, and ideal for a more intimate dinner perhaps or sitting around with friends and family. It combines airs and songs, but not the dance music or sing-along ballads of the uptempo version. As the curator, I can say that each is special in its way, and for different reasons. Two hours of carefully selected tunes and songs. You can see the playlist below. We welcome your feedback, always. Send an email to celtic@wgbh.org.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, hope you enjoy it.
