Carol Noonan is a singer-songwriter who grew up in Massachusetts and attended the New England Conservatory in Boston as a classical voice major. She now lives in Maine, where she runs the Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield.
In this very personal essay, Noonan talks about her mother and the emotions of moving from her long-time family home to a small apartment. Carol uses her recording of the classic Irish-American song "My Wild Irish Rose" as the backdrop.
Sometimes we are left with just memories. Happy Mother's Day.
