The North Carolina-based Mandolin Orange effortlessly beguiled a sold out crowd at Royale on Saturday. But we're not surprised, we've been under their spell since experiencing a special performance by them in our Fraser Performance Studio last year. Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz formed the band nearly ten years ago, and have built a sizable fanbase around their hypnotic songwriting, and blend of Americana, bluegrass, folk, gospel, country, and pop. Their new album Tides of A Teardrop is available now.
