Boston Globe columnist Alex Beam spoke with Boston Public Radio on Thursday about James Taylor's 90-minute audiobook memoir, "Break Shot: My First 21 Years."
"There's so many wonderful things about it," he said. "I'm not an audiobook consumer, but to hear James Taylor's voice here is beautiful."
The story seems to be truly from the heart, Beam noted.
"It's about what he, James Taylor, calls the wreck of the Taylor family and his extremely tumultuous childhood and adolescence."
