Cooking legend Julia Child introduced French cuisine to American cooks in 1963 with WGBH’s pioneering television series, The French Chef.

Under Russ Morash, iconic shows such as This Old House and The French Chef with Julia Child became the foundation for a new genre of television programming: Do-It-Yourself.

Known as the “Dean of Boston Jazz Radio”, Eric Jackson has created an outstanding legacy of commitment to the music and the musicians. Because of his deep knowledge of the music and his respectful and sincere attitude towards the musicians, Eric has been able to establish trusting relationships with these professionals.

A series of debates with a moderator facilitating the discussion of national and international issues – using advocates who would introduce witnesses to support their point of view. Debates recorded at Boston’s Faneuil Hall.

In 1966, WGBH worked with renowned cookbook author and Cambridge restaurateur Joyce Chen to develop a series on Chinese cooking. Eventually, 26 episodes of Joyce Chen Cooks were shot and aired between 1966 and 1967.

Say Brother is WGBH’s longest-running public affairs television program by, for and about African Americans, now known as Basic Black.
