For several years, NCAM provided online and in-house training sessions on the STEM Description Guidelines. Training was provided to over 70 organizations including:
- K-12 teachers and professionals
- colleges and universities
- text book publishers
- assisstive technology companies
- Alternative Media Producers: Bookshare, RFB&D, American Printing House for the Blind, American Foundation for the Blind
Hundreds of publications, books, websites, etc., now employ these guidelines for image description.
