(Boston, MA - July 25, 2024) – Boston public media producer GBH has been honored with 20 nominations across ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, FRONTLINE, and NOVA by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) for the 2024 Annual Emmy® Awards.

Today, FRONTLINE, GBH’s investigative journalism series, received 17 nominations for the News & Documentary Emmy Awards, including in the Best Documentary category for Elon Musk’s Twitter Takeover. FRONTLINE also received nominations in 13 other categories, including Outstanding Hard News Feature Story: Long Form; Outstanding Investigative News Coverage: Long Form; Outstanding Business, Consumer, or Economic Coverage; Outstanding Politics and Government Documentary; Outstanding Investigative Documentary; Outstanding Historical Documentary; Outstanding Business and Economic Documentary; Outstanding Writing: News; Outstanding Research: News; Outstanding Editing: News; Outstanding Music Composition: News; Outstanding Writing: Documentary; Outstanding Research: Documentary.

NOVA, the award-winning PBS science series produced at GBH, received two nominations for the News & Documentary Emmy Awards. Ancient Earth was nominated in the Outstanding Graphic Design: Documentary category and The Battle to Beat Malaria was nominated in the Outstanding Science & Technology: Documentary category.

On July 17, GBH’s ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, the most-watched ongoing primetime television series on PBS, received a Primetime Emmy Award Nomination in the Outstanding Structured Reality Program category. It is the 22nd Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the series.

Presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), the Emmy Awards seek to honor outstanding achievements in television production as well as news and documentary programming. The Outstanding Structured Reality category of the Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced in early September. Winners of the 45th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards will be announced on September 25 (news) and September 26 (documentary).
