Boston (July 28, 2023) - Boston public media producer GBH has been honored with 15 nominations by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) for the 2023 Annual Emmy® Awards.
ANTIQUES ROADSHOW received a Primetime Emmy Award Nomination, in the category Outstanding Structured Reality Program. It is the 21st Primetime Emmy Award nomination for PBS’s most-watched ongoing series.
FRONTLINE, NOVA, and WORLD received a combined 14 nominations in the News & Documentary Emmy Awards.

FRONTLINE, GBH’s investigative journalism series received 9 nominations, including a nomination in the Best Documentary category for Putin’s Attack on Ukraine: Documenting War Crimes, produced in partnership with The Associated Press.
FRONTLINE also received nominations in seven other categories,including Outstanding Hard News Feature Story: Long Form; Outstanding Investigative News Coverage: Long Form; Outstanding Historical Documentary; Outstanding Research: News; Outstanding Writing: Documentary; and Outstanding Research: Documentary.
WORLD, public media’s platform for complex and diverse human-centered documentaries and programming, received two nominations, including one in the category Outstanding Recorded News Special for the production Burning Questions: Covering Climate Now. WORLD was also nominated in the Outstanding Social Issue Documentary Category for Sapelo, an America ReFramed production in partnership with American Documentary.
NOVA, the most-watched primetime science series on American television, earned three nominations, including two nominations in the Outstanding Science and Technology Documentary category for the films Augmented and Ultimate Space Telescope. NOVA was also nominated in the Outstanding Promotional Announcement category for Augmented.
