BOSTON (November 13, 2018) – WGBH’s High School Quiz Show has announced the sixteen teams from across Massachusetts who will compete on the tenth anniversary season of WGBH’s televised academic tournament. These schools received the highest scores on an oral quiz at the Super Sunday qualifying event held earlier this month at WGBH’s studios and will move on to the next phase of the competition, when episodes are taped in January, 2019. “Ten years in, and High School Quiz Show is still going strong, celebrating the immense curiosity, teamwork and academic power of Massachusetts high schoolers” said host Billy Costa. “A well-deserved congratulations to our tenth season’s top sixteen teams. I know you’ll bring the heat at the tapings this winter!”
