GBH Employee Participation Model
Led by our employees and supported by GBH leaders, GBH’s Employee Participation Model provides a network to exchange ideas and support the professional development and inclusion efforts of our colleagues.

Employee Resource Groups
Catalyst champions BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) employees and the allies that support them at GBH. Catalyst encourages those interested to follow the Catalyst LinkedIn Page
Connected is GBH’s group for Beginnings, Belonging, and Beyond. It supports intergenerational GBH staff who are new to the public media ecosystem; early in their career; and/or have changed their career and are new in their role, looking for a place to grow alongside colleagues.
Prism is a safe, supportive and celebratory space for GBH’s LGBTQ+ community and allies.
GBH Councils and Committees
GBH’s All Access advances inclusion and equity for disabled GBH staff and their allies, and supports family members of those with disabilities. At GBH, we’re dedicated to empowering employees with disabilities to be fully included, supported, and equal members of the GBH community by removing ableist structural, technological, and attitudinal barriers and stigma at GBH and beyond.
The IDEA Council is composed individuals in a range of jobs, roles, and tenures operating in different functions across the Foundation. This group works with the Office of Inclusion & Equity to provide insight and counsel on critical initiatives and structural changes within GBH.
The Inclusion Ambassadors encourage participation in Employee Resource Groups and other activities that advance inclusion and equity at GBH.
These committees focus on employee engagement and workplace culture within individual departments or areas of focus to create a deeper sense of belonging among employees.
Formed in April 2022, GBH’s Land Acknowledgement Committee developed our first official Land Acknowledgement statement for the organization and a Commitment to Actions which pledges to strengthen GBH's relationship with Indigenous people and find ways to honor them and tell their stories.
