Katavi National Park in southern Tanzania is a remote wilderness that experiences a rare climactic upheaval — a severe drought followed by heavy rains. The lions, hippos, and crocodiles who call Katavi home face a critical test of their survival skills and resilience as they try to defend their home from intruders during one of the most extreme years the animals have faced in their entire lifetimes.
