Community Canvas is an initiative presented by The Culture Show where GBH features artwork from community members on our Digital Mural.
Today’s mural features an expressionist painting by Abby Zonies. She uses color, marks, and movement to choreograph a powerful energetic and visually dense image.
“I trust the work to reveal it’s significance to the viewer,” Zonies says.
Zonies makes abstract paintings using gouache on paper and mixed media. She is an artist based in Massachussetts.
