Today’s mural features ceramics made by Ana Crowley Noordzij. By treating the bowl as the original sculpture, Noordzij explores the beauty of idea synthesis.
“The tactile nature of clay has fascinated me from a very young age,” Noordzij says. “I love that my work goes out into the world to be held and used. The clay leads the way in a meditative process that results in one of a kind pieces.”
Noordzij studied at Massachusetts College of Art, The University of New South Wales, Australia, and received a degree in ceramics under Marvin Sweet at Bradford College.
