Molly of Denali is a Peabody Award-winning animated series produced here at GBH, and is the first nationally distributed children's series to feature a Native American and Alaska Native lead character.
In this new one-hour special, Molly is inspired to help Grandpa Nat climb Mount Denali and honor Walter Harper, the first person to do so and real-life Alaska Native. Molly's friend Trini is also preparing for a big event: her mom Joy is on leave from the U.S. Army and visiting Qyah for the first time!
