Harvard Division of Social Science, Faculty of Arts and Sciences

Social science encompasses a wide range of scholarship on humans and their interactions, at multiple levels of analysis (e.g., from individuals to organizations to governments). This enterprise includes the study of psychology, economics, culture, and religion, as well as social relations, history, and political science. The Division of Social Science consists of 10 degree committees and departments and 22 other programs, institutes, centers, and museums. We have approximately 34% of the ladder faculty in the FAS, and more than half of the concentrators.
