American Institute for Managing Diversity

The American Institute for Managing Diversity (AIMD) was founded by Dr. R. Roosevelt Thomas, Jr. in 1984 as a non-profit entity to serve as a diversity management advocate and as a resource for those interested in affecting sustainable change within their environments. Today, AIMD is America's foremost non-profit diversity management organization. It addresses the challenging issues of differences, similarities and tensions within organizations through a series of activities designed to expand and clarify ideas about diversity management.
