**Kara Miller** is the host and executive editor of the public radio program Innovation Hub, which she helped launch in 2011. The program now airs on more than 120 stations, including New York, Chicago, Boston, Houston, and Philadelphia. Innovation Hub is a weekly, hour-long show that focuses on big ideas and new research. As a host, Kara has interviewed Steve Wozniak, Sherry Turkle, Jared Diamond, Sal Khan, Yo-Yo Ma, Marissa Mayer, and Garry Kasparov, among others. Her writing has appeared in The Boston Globe, The National Journal, TheAtlantic.com, The Huffington Post and The International Herald Tribune. Kara has also contributed to other national radio programs, including “The Takeaway,” “Marketplace Tech,” and “The World.” Kara holds a Ph.D. from Tufts and a B.A. from Yale.

Molly Wood is the host of Marketplace Tech, a weekday show that helps listeners understand the business behind the technology that's rewiring our lives. In addition, she joins forces with Marketplace host Kai Ryssdal to connect the dots on the economy, tech and culture as co-host of the podcast Make Me Smart with Kai and Molly. Molly has covered technology in print, web and broadcast media. Before joining Marketplace in 2015, she was a tech columnist at The New York Times and an executive editor at CNET. Previously, she launched the CNET podcast "Buzz Out Loud," one of the early successes in podcasting, which fans still celebrate. In the web video space, she started an original tech-focused video series at The New York Times called "Machine Learning," and she also created and hosted the popular web show "Always on with Molly Wood." The ambitious tech series ultimately shot episodes all over the world. A native Montanan, Molly is now based in the surprisingly wildlife-filled Oakland Hills, where she lives with her son, Eli, dog Reggie and many internet-connected devices.

Katrine joined Editas Medicine as President Chief Executive Officer in 2014, shortly after the company was founded. Katrine has been part of the biotechnology industry for over 25 years. Before Editas, she was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at The Broad Institute, a biomedical and genomic research center, and prior to that, she was President and CEO of Avila Therapeutics. Earlier, Katrine was Vice President, Business Development at Adnexus Therapeutics, and she held several positions at Biogen in business development, commercial operations, and portfolio strategy. She was also part of the healthcare team at the venture firm Highland Capital Partners. She is a graduate of Cornell University. Katrine currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Genocea Biosciences (NASDAQ: GNCA) and is a Board member of Galapagos NV (EURONEXT and NASDAQ: GLPG) and of BIO – the Biotechnology Innovation Organization.

**Safi Bahcall** is a second-generation physicist (the son of two astrophysicists) and a biotech entrepreneur. He received his BA summa cum laude from Harvard and his Ph.D.in physics from Stanford, where he worked with Lenny Susskind in particle physics (the science of the small) and the Nobel laureate Bob Laughlin in condensed matter physics (the science of the many).

Dr. Joep Muijrers, Ph.D., has been Chief Financial Officer of PureTech Health plc since April 24, 2018. Dr. Muijrers served as Director at Karuna Therapeutics, Inc. until July 2019. Dr. Muijrers served as Director of Corporate Finance and Capital Markets at Fortis Merchant Banking and focused exclusively on the global biotech sector. In his position, he was responsible for the origination and execution of numerous financial and strategic transactions for biotech companies located in Europe as well as in the United States. He served as Partner and Portfolio Manager at Life Sciences Partners BV since May 3, 2007.
