Janine Benyus is known worldwide for her influence in naming the practice of biomimicry in her seminal book, \_Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature\_, and for her work shaping the practice as an innovation tool helping to solve some of humanity’s most pressing challenges. She is the Co-Founder of Biomimicry 3.8, the world’s leading bio-inspired consultancy, and The Biomimicry Institute, a nonprofit that empowers people to create nature- inspired solutions for a healthy planet. Janine has inspired millions through her work as an innovator, speaker, and as a biologist at the design table, working with companies like Boeing, General Electric, and Interface Inc.

David Titley is a Professor of Practice in Meteorology and a Professor of International Affairs at the Pennsylvania State University. He is the Founding Director of Penn State’s Center for Solutions to Weather and Climate Risk. After graduating from Penn State, Titley served as a naval officer for 32 years and rose to the rank of Rear Admiral. Dr. Titley’s career included duties as commander of the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, and Oceanographer and Navigator of the Navy. While serving in the Pentagon, Dr. Titley initiated and led the U.S. Navy’s Task Force on Climate Change. After retiring from the Navy, Dr. Titley served as the Deputy Undersecretary of Commerce for Operations, the chief operating officer position at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Dr. Titley serves on numerous advisory boards and National Academies of Science committees. He received an honorary Doctorate degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and is a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society.

Harvey Locke is a conservationist, writer, and photographer. He is a recognized global leader in the field of parks, wilderness, and large landscape conservation. He is a Co-Founder of the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative and the Nature Needs Half movement. In 2014, he was awarded the Fred M. Packard Award for outstanding service to protected areas by the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas at the World Parks Congress in Sydney, Australia. He has appeared in many films on conservation including NOVA’s \_Wild Ways: Corridors of Life\_ on PBS, and his writings have been published in many countries. Harvey has been nominated for the 2018 Indianapolis Prize, the world’s leading award for animal conservation. He lives in Banff National Park, Canada.
