Boston University's Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences and the School of Theology present So Fare Films and the North American premiere of Simulating Religious Violence. Prompted by the tragic events of 9/11 in New York and the Boston Marathon bombing, go behind the scenes of a three-year project with computer scientists and religion scholars as they harness the power of computer simulation and modeling to explore solutions for global conflicts rooted in religious violence.

Happening on the 17th floor of the university's new Computing & Data Sciences building, the event will begin with a welcome reception, followed by the film premiere, and culminating with an expert panel moderated by Professor of Philosophy, Theology, and Ethics, and of Computing and Data Sciences, Wesley Wildman.

GBH Forum Network will live stream this talk and publish an edited version to our website.
