Before taking the senior national correspondent post, Wertheimer spent 13 years as a host of NPR's flagship news magazine, *All Things Considered.*
Denis O'Hayer locally hosts *All Things Considered* and *Marketplace*. Prior to working at WABE, he covered local affairs, politics, and government for 11 years as a political reporter for WXIA-TV.
John Lemley serves Atlanta a plateful of classics and a variety of sides on City Café. No novice to classical music, he selects a blend of classical music, arts, and culture during the one hour show. City Cafe is also the lunchtime place for NPR and BBC headlines, local commentary and the latest in what’s happening in and around Atlanta. Following City Café, John offers a hearty helping of Afternoon Classics from 1 to 3 pm with classical music, NPR news, weather, traffic and the *Stargazer’s Journal*.
John Weatherford came to public broadcasting after working in commercial radio since 1966, commercial television since 1969 and running his own production companies (radio, TV, graphics and 3D animation) for 15 years. Much of the programming created in those 15 years ended up on public television; some of those series are still airing today. The majority of his more than 30 years in commercial broadcasting was spent in news and local programming. He has also served as vice president of the Georgia Radio Reading Service board for almost a decade.
