Prominent Palestinian author, screenwriter, and newspaper columnist, Sayed Kashua, once ‘The other” in his homeland of Israel now finds himself “the other”in his new home in the Midwest. Through humor and satire, Kashua shares the challenges and struggles of living in a foreign land and the difficulties of writing about home from a distance.

Sayed Kashua is a journalist, columnist and screenwriter and author, known for his humor. He wrote four stellar novels _Dancing Arabs_ (2002), _Let It Be Morning_ (2006), _Second Person Singular_ (2010), _Track Changes_ (2017). He is also the creator of some of Israel’s most popular sitcoms, the brilliantly satirical _Arab Labor_ and then T_he Writer_. He's known for his humorous tone.
