Stephanie Sapienza provides an introduction to the skillset and toolset required to manage complex projects. The session will feature an overview of different approaches to agile management, options for project management tools, and lessons learned from projects past.
**Stephanie Sapienza** is project manager at the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities. She works with the entire MITH team to coordinate and implement research and development projects, public programs, and communications. She has a B.A. in Film Studies from the University of Kansas and an M.A. in Moving Image Archive Studies from UCLA, where her work focused on issues related to access to and reuse of historical media collections with a focus on broadcasting, experimental film and animation history. In the past, Stephanie was the Project Manager for the American Archive of Public Broadcasting at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, where she managed strategic operational planning for metadata and digitization initiatives.
