This session focuses on **professional development and networking**, including: drafting session proposals for conferences and press releases for projects; submitting work for publication; negotiating for professional development funding and support; and creating a professional development plan for yourself. While geared towards early-career archivists, the skills discussed will be applicable to many young professionals in competitive fields.
