**Michael Chambliss** is a technologist and business representative for the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG), IATSE Local 600, focused on the development and implementation of new production technologies impacting directors of photography and their camera crews. He has been working closely with FAA-exempt UAS motion picture and television production operators, regulatory agencies, insurers, the motion picture and television Industry Wide Labor/Management Safety Committee, and entertainment industry guilds, among others, to implement this technology as new visual storytelling technique. He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers Technology Committee, the Virtual Cinema Committee, as well as being the ICG’s representative on USC’s Entertainment Technology Center projects. Prior to the ICG, Michael was a principal of Chambliss-Wolff Films, a TV commercial production company. He has also been a director of photography and camera operator on motion pictures and television series as well as being a Peabody Award winning documentary director/DP. His credits include work on Traffic, Rat Race, Perfect Storm, The Italian Job, Ocean’s 11, Scrubs, and Pushing Daisies. His photography and paintings can be found in the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago and Museo Victorio Macho (Spain) and were selected for an Eames Design Group exhibition.

**Jeff Adams** is a Co-Founder of Unmanned Aerial Systems Development, Inc., a research & development company for heavy-lift UAVs in a variety of commercial and industrial applications. Jeff’s 20-year background in commercial photography and production led UASD’s initial UAV program to focus on aerial photography and cinematography applications. Along with his co-founders Joel Laino (a veteran of the commercial production industry) and Matt Greenway (mechanical engineer), Jeff helped determine required capabilities and models for systems integration for the heavy-lift drones that UASD delivers to production clients. Jeff is a partner in Oversite Productions, Inc., a service provider for aerial filming and production operations. Jeff currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI). He also serves as an aviation advisor to the Devens Interoperability Playground initiative, helping to develop a comprehensive robotics and autonomous vehicle testing facility in Devens, MA.

**Collin Murray** is a drone pilot with recreational drone use experience and a private pilot’s license. DARTdrones Flight Academy is one of the only FAA Certified drone flight schools in the country. Its mission is to provide the highest quality training on Unmanned Aerial Systems for businesses, emergency services teams, and hobbyists. Collin is from Sea Cliff, NY, received a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University, and is currently located in Belmont, MA. He worked as a medical device research and design engineer for 10 years developing products used in eye surgery. Collin is looking forward to the expansion of drone use in the search and rescue area of public safety services.

**Andrew Amato** is an experienced online publisher, having written about everything from Alexander the Great to Guitar Hero. Before working on DRONELIFE he covered tech startup news for StreetWise Media and developed mobile applications for Dreamkind Inc. **Chris Walsh** has a decade of experience as a special effects technician in feature film production. His credits include: The Judge, The Equalizer, Ted 2, and Black Mass. Three years ago Chris and Judson Bell decided to use their years of custom fabrication in special effects and videography experience to build custom drones for commercial production. Elevated Perspective Media is based in commercial production, but is continuing to expand its services into mapping and inspection work using sUAS.

Scott Kirsner is a journalist who writes about innovation and entrepreneurship.
