Jess Leber has over 20 years of experience and expertise as a microbiologist, molecular biologist, and metabolic engineer. He received his training at MIT, UC San Francisco, and UC Berkeley. Until 2008, Dr. Leber was an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at the University of Chicago, before joining renewable fuels company Joule Unlimited, where he served in both scientific and commercial roles. As Director of Business Development at Ginkgo, Jess brings his technical background to help identify commercial opportunities.

Mara Gordon is Founder of Aunt Zelda's, Calla Spring Wellness, and Zelda Therapeutics. Mara specializes in the development of treatment protocols utilizing Bio Pharmaceutical grade cannabis extracts for seriously ill patients in California. She co-founded Aunt Zelda's, Calla Spring Wellness, and Zelda Therapeutics in order to provide real outcomes for patients with serious diseases.
Kevin is the CSO and Founder of Medicinal Genomics and has pioneered the genomics of cannabis and hemp to build a stronger scientific environment (Kannapedia.net) for the study of cannabis based therapeutics and blockchain technologies for tracking and verifying cannabis genetics. Previously, Kevin was the CSO of Courtagen Life Sciences, Inc., and was Vice President and Director of R&D of Life Technologies where he managed the development of Life Technologies next generation SOLiD sequencing technology.
Dr. McNabb is the CEO of Cannabis Community Care and Research Network (C3RN) a cannabis-focused research and project implementation company. Dr. McNabb has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) from Boston University School of Public Health. She has over 15 years of experience implementing sexual and reproductive health programs mainly in Africa and Haiti, including innovative digital health tools for research and project implementation. She is widely published in scientific journals and joined the cannabis industry in early 2017 to apply her experience to advance the science and integration of medical cannabis as a treatment alternative. Her goal is to create a center of excellence for medical cannabis care and research in New England.
Vinit Nijhawan was Managing Director, Office of Technology Development at Boston University. Vinit teaches MBA courses on Entrepreneurship at BU Questrom School of Business, over 300 students have taken his courses. He has over 30 years experience building five startups.
