Move over nurses, cashiers, and office clerks! It's time to talk about really unusual, curious and offbeat jobs. Specifically, we'll hear from a designer working at the intersections of fashion and disability; a psychic medium who works on police investigations and a guy who combs junkyards for his next invention. The guests are: Open Style Lab Co-Founder Grace Teo (@openstylelab) Psychic Medium and Investigator Kelle Sutliff (@KellePyschic) Leader of THE NERDS, aka the New England Rubbish Deconstruction Society, Jeff Del Papa. Grace is the co-founder of Open Style Lab, an organization that seeks to make functional, stylish clothing for people with disabilities. Born and bred in Singapore, she came to the U.S. for a Harvard/MIT PhD in health sciences and technology. Creating Open Style Lab fulfilled a childhood dream of being a fashion designer, while leveraging her medical training. The part she loves most about her job is connecting occupational therapists, engineers and fashion designers - three typically disparate fields - to create wearable solutions with and for people with disabilities.
Kelle Sutliff is a Psychic Medium, author, former radio show host and psychic investigator. Her book Listen UP! The Other Side is Talking has won the internationally acclaimed “Mom’s Choice” and “Readers’ Favorite” book awards. She co-authored with Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul Series) in Pearls of Wisdom, 30 Inspirational Ideas to Live Your Best Life Now! Kelle has consulted with law enforcement, private detectives and families to help in finding the missing. She does individual readings and lives in Boston, MA with her family.
Mundanely known as Jeff Del Papa, I live in Watertown, a near suburb of Boston. Its' adjacent to Cambridge, home of MIT, Harvard, and a lot of offices filled with computing companies, In the past, I managed a team of programmers. (a process not unlike herding cats).
