Television expert Bob Thompson spoke with Boston Public Radio on Monday about Disney releasing a live-action adaptation of Mulan on its streaming service Disney+ for $30. The film was supposed to make a theatrical debut in March but was taken off of the calendar completely due to the pandemic.

Bob Thompson is a founding director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture and a trustee professor of television and popular culture at Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
