Television expert Bob Thompson spoke with Boston Public Radio on Monday to review "Never Have I Ever," a new show on Netflix about a first-generation Indian-American teenager, Devi Vishwakumar.
"It just debuted last week, ten episodes, only 30 minutes long, and this is from Mindy Kaling," he said. "This is yet another high school kid growing up, it's a bit of a cliche as a genre, but this one is really delightful."
Nearly every single line is well written, quotable, and charming, Thompson said.
"In these times of uncertainty, it's perfect."
