Comedian Chris Fleming joined guest hosts Sue O’Connell and Andrea Cabral Monday on Boston Public Radio to reflect on his decade as a stand-up comic, YouTuber, and almost-dance minor at Skidmore College.
“When we spoke last, I was a child– look at me now!" Fleming told O'Connell. "I have this little scruffle… I look like a swinger.”
Variety Magazine named Fleming, known for his bizarre characters to its' list of 10 comics to watch in 2019. He's known primarily for his bizarre characters and sketch videos on YouTube where nearly 400,000 subscribe to his channel.
“What is my comedy? I don’t know… some people say it’s surreal, some people call it strange," he said. "There’s a lot of music, there’s song and dance."
Fleming will perform two stand-up shows at the Wilbur Theater on Jan. 4.
