Cuban jazz pianist Harold López-Nussa performs live at WGBH’s Fraser performance studio in Boston with his brother, Ruy López-Nussa on drums, and longtime friend and collaborator, Gastón Joya, on bass. WGBH Jazz 24/7 host Tessil Collins sat down with Harold before his set to talk about performing with this particular trio, following the jazz scene in the U.S. while living in Cuba, and making the transition from playing Classical music to jazz.
