Ms. Lauryn Hill played an enchanting live set at the Wang Theatre in Boston as part of her The MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling! concert series. Celebrating the unity, culture and art that came out of the African diaspora, each night will include performances by different artists affected by the diaspora.
Ms. Hill said of the series, “In these days of tension, tumult and transition, an exchange of this kind can yield direction, expression, understanding and empowerment as well as connection, self love and appreciation that hopefully overflows into our respective communities.”
