Lewis Wheeler and Hubens “Bobby” Cius, actors in the play Pass Over, at the SpeakEasy Stage Company joined Boston Public Radio on Friday to discuss their roles.

"It's basically about these two black men who really have nothing to do, they're on the street corner and trying to find their way out of the situation," Cius said. "The things pulling [them] back in this case, in the story of Pass Over, are things I call the ever present gaze of whiteness and the oppression and racial issues in the world that hold black men back," he said.

Pass Over will play at the SpeakEasy Stage Company from January 3 - 25, 2020.
