Chef, instructor and author, Annie B. Copps joined Boston Public Radio Monday to talk about the 4th annual Readable Feast Festival happening on June 13.
The festival is a celebration of cookbooks from New England, highlighting local authors, ingredients, and recipes. Copps, one of the festival's founders, told BPR that she and fellow founder Louisa Kasdon created the festival "to help build the community and get people to cook a little bit better, and support the local economy."
For Copps, physical cookbooks have the ability to conjure the memories we have of food in way that an intangible online recipe can't.
The Readable Feast will take place on Readable Feast on Thursday, June 13 at Trimark's Innovation Center in Boston's Seaport District.
