Hi Folks,

While today may be dreary, we're anxiously looking forward to this sunny weekend (and all the cool things happening in the BPL studio!)

Mayor Marty Walsh will be on Friday's Boston Public Radio from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for his monthly installment of Ask the Mayor and High School Quiz Show's Billy Costa will be making a guest appearance on Friday's BPR to test Jim an Margery on their weekly News Quiz.

As always, Jim and Margery will be in the BPL studio on Tuesday and Friday for a live taping of Boston Public Radio.

Looking ahead, NOVA will be back on Tuesday, May 28th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. for another CafeSci where they'll be looking at algorithmic bias and how Facebook’s ad delivery system might be biased along gender and racial lines for important ads such as housing and jobs.

And Callie Crossley will be joining us on Wednesday, May 29th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. for a live taping of Under the Radar where she'll be recording her annual “Ask a Librarian” summer book special.

Keep your eyes peeled for an update on our Pride Parade Facebook Live scheduled for June 8th at 11:00 a.m. We just booked former Congressman Barney Frank and the lead lobbyist of Massachusetts' gay marriage legislation, Arline Isaacson, so it's shaping up to be a very powerful panel.

Have a great weekend,

Emily
