Hi All,

We're kicking off the month of April with four weeks of jazz! This month, Eric in the Evening becomes Eric in the Afternoon in our BPL studio where he and a mix of authors, creators and musicians explore the history and culture of jazz music. Join us this Wednesday at 3 p.m. as Eric Jackson sits down with author of The Boston Jazz Chronicles, Richard Vacca, and owner of Wally's Cafe's, Elynor Walcott, to explore Boston's jazz scene. Musical guest Yoko Miwa Trio will be making an appearance, too. Can't make it to the BPL? Join us on Facebook Live for the full program.

Have you been paying attention to the news? Test your knowledge this Thursday, April 4th from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Newsfeed Cafe for another round of News Trivia with WGBH's Mike Deehan. We're quizzing guests on the 2020 Democratic candidates (15 and counting), so now's your time to brush up on the field. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the Newsfeed Cafe, and yes, there will be prizes.

Brian O'Donovan will be back for another round of A Celtic Sojourn in our BPL Studio on Saturday, April 6th from 3-6 p.m., and finally, Jim and Margery will be here on Tuesday and Friday for a live taping of Boston Public Radio.

Enjoy the warm weather!

Have a great weekend,

Emily
