-Jane Wolf, a resident of the South End, recalls watching Big Papi's first homerun at Fenway Park.
[Dwight "Dewey" Evans] went back and back and leaped up, and somehow snagged this vicious liner, turned around and threw to first base, doubled off the runner who was trying to advance to second ... double play.
-Ed Burke, a Jamaica Plain resident, reminisces on Game 6 of the 1975 World Series against the Cincinatti Reds, where the Red Sox' Dwight "Dewey" Evans made a miraculous double play.
