The Great American Read: NCAM And Media Access Group

Emily Schario is a producer in the WGBH Studio at the Boston Public Library, where she produces radio and digital broadcasts about the Boston community and beyond. Before joining WGBH, Emily was the news editor for her college newspaper and interned at WBUR’s On Point Radio. She has a degree in mediated communication and English literature from Stonehill College.

Innovation Hub's Kara Miller sat down with Bryan Gould of National Center for Accessible Media and Renee Ruthel of the NCAM and Media Access Group at WGBH to discuss how books have been translated into other media, and made accessible to the blind/low vision and the deaf/hearing impaired.
