Every Thursday on Morning Edition, WGBH Arts Editor Jared Bowen sums up the exhibitions, theater, movies and music you should check out in and around Boston and delivers news from the region’s arts scene.

This week, he recaps two developments in Boston’s theater landscape: Boston University’s sale of the BU Theatre, aka The Huntington Theatre Company’s main stage; and Boston Lyric Opera’s announcement that its 40th season will take place across four downtown venues.

Turning to what's on stage at the Modern Theatre, he calls The Poets’ Theatre’s sketch-comedy-style production of Italian Nobel Laureate Dario Fo’s “Mistero Buffo” “hilarious.” And he explains why “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” is a must-see while “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is “a horrible film.”
