Bill Moyers Journal

Bill Moyers returns with Bill Moyers Journal, named after his first important public affairs series on public television 35 years ago. Moyers is reinventing the series for the 21st century with interviews and news analysis of underreported stories across an array of topics, including politics, arts and culture, the media, the economy, and issues facing democracy.

Mr Moyers, I watched your advice to President Obama at the end of tonights episode (9/4/09) and I felt like you had taken the words right out of my mouth and out of everyones mouth who are aching over this healthcare debate. The debate itself has sunk so low that it is unimaginable that we are taking the "crack pots" seriously at all. What is Obama waiting for? You are right that you cannot fight someone who is trying to slit your throat with niceness or bipartisanship. They just have no rationality. If Obama cannot stand up to them then he needs a VP who will. Who may that be? Someone with the moral rectitude and mental alacrity to smash through all the stupid comments and show those proponents for what they really are, spoiledt bullies and greedy, destructive racists. This country wont be worth living in if they have their way and they wont stop until they do. Now all of us of decent nature must put an end to this insanity and stand stronger. Thank you for speaking from the heart and saying it in no uncertain terms.
