Much has been made of the 50th anniversary of Miles Davis’s Kind of Blue and Dave Brubeck’s Time Out. But host Steve Schwartz is featuring tracks from other classic albums released in 1959, including Thelonious Monk’s (shown) Orchestra at Town Hall, Horace Silver’s Finger Poppin’, and Charles Mingus’s Mingus Ah Um.
